How to Create a Poll Post on Mieword

Mieword's Poll feature makes it easy to gather opinions, collect feedback, and encourage engagement from your community. Polls are created directly from the post composer, allowing you to ask questions, provide multiple answer options, and control who can participate.

Create a Poll Post

Step 1: Open the Poll Creator

From the main post composer, click +Option and select Poll.

This opens the poll creation interface.

Step 2: Enter Your Poll Question

Type a clear and concise question in the post editor.

Note: A poll cannot be published without a question.

Step 3: Add Poll Options

Enter the answer choices for your poll in the options section.

To include additional choices, click Add Option.

The minimum and maximum number of poll options are determined by your platform's configuration.

Step 4: Understand Media Limitations

Poll posts cannot include media attachments.

When a poll is active:

• Image uploads are disabled.

• Video uploads are disabled.

If your post already contains media, you must remove the media before you can create or publish the poll.

Step 5: Choose Who Can Participate

Under Who can see this?, select the audience for your poll:

• Everyone – Open to all users.

• Followers – Available only to users who follow you.

• Subscribers – Accessible only to your subscribers.

• Premium – Limited to users with premium access.

Your visibility selection determines who can view and vote in the poll.

Step 6: Publish Your Poll

After reviewing your question and answer choices, click Publish.

Once your poll is live, each user can cast one vote. Votes are recorded automatically, and participants cannot vote multiple times.

Important Notes

• Every poll must include a question before it can be published.

• Polls cannot be combined with images or videos.

• The number of available answer choices is determined by platform settings.

• Each user is allowed to vote only once per poll.

Write concise, engaging questions and provide clear, distinct answer options to encourage participation. Choose the appropriate audience visibility to ensure your poll reaches the intended users and generates meaningful feedback.
