How to Create a Campaign on Mieword

Mieword's Campaign feature allows you to raise funds and receive support from your community by creating a fundraising campaign directly from the post composer. Campaigns include a fundraising goal, contribution limits, and a progress tracker that keeps supporters informed throughout your campaign.

Create a Campaign

Step 1: Open the Campaign Creator

From the post composer, click +Option and select Campaign.

This opens the campaign creation form, where you can configure your fundraising campaign.

Step 2: Enter Campaign Details

Complete the campaign form by providing the following information:

• Title – Enter a clear and compelling title for your campaign.

• Summary (Optional) – Provide a brief description explaining the purpose of your campaign.

• Target Amount – Specify the total amount you want to raise.

• Minimum Contribution (Optional) – Set the minimum amount supporters can contribute.

• Maximum Contribution (Optional) – Set the maximum amount a supporter can contribute.

• End Date – Choose a future date and time for your campaign to conclude.

• Cover Image (Optional) – Upload a high-quality JPG or PNG image to make your campaign more visually appealing.

Step 3: Review Campaign Requirements

Before your campaign can be created, Mieword validates the information you provide. Ensure that:

• The Target Amount falls within the platform's permitted range.

• If both Minimum Contribution and Maximum Contribution are specified, the maximum value must be greater than the minimum value.

• The End Date is set to a future date and time.

Step 4: Publish Your Campaign

After verifying your campaign details, click Create Campaign.

Your campaign will be published as a campaign post. Depending on your platform's moderation settings, it may require administrator approval before becoming visible to other users.

Campaign Permissions

Campaign creation can be restricted by the platform administrator. Depending on your platform's configuration, campaigns may be created by:

• All users

• Verified users or creators only

• Administrators only

How Campaigns Are Displayed

Published campaigns appear in the Mieword feed as dedicated campaign cards. Each campaign card displays key information, including:

• Campaign title

• Fundraising progress

• Target amount

• Amount raised

• Donation details

This allows supporters to monitor your campaign's progress and contribute directly from the post.

Create a compelling campaign by using a descriptive title, a clear explanation of your fundraising goal, and a high-quality cover image. Setting realistic fundraising targets and providing regular updates can help build trust, encourage engagement, and increase community support.
